Tabist Tsukuba Sky Hotel should improve their room quality and also room service. There is no daily room cleaning service. I stayed in Tokyo at only 8,000 yen per day (in Remm Hibiya hotel). Their room service was awesome and room structure was also very beautiful. Even though it was small, but properly arranged. In Tsukuba Sky hotel, they took very high price with low quality room and poor room service. Sorry to say.

Very friendly, helpful staff. I stayed here for work and the amenities were more than sufficient for my needs. There is a hair dryer in the room and a kettle you can borrow for your stay. There is a washing machine and dryer on the top floor and you can buy a small quantity of laundry detergent from the front desk. There is no room service, but fresh towels are provided every day.

I am cycling across Japan and Tsukuba is a stop I'm taking due to its location so essentially I only need a room to crash and this was perfect. Price was good, it's on a road with a lot of restaurants and the shared bath is a standard Japanese sento.

Close to the station, about 20 minutes walking. Friendly staff, good service. Convenient place, a lot of shops around. Its much cheaper than hotels around and has a dining area where you can eat (unfortunately not available on Sundays)
